Good to know

Questions, answered plainly.

How much does the Grand Ceylon Circuit cost?
There is no fixed package price, because there is no fixed package. The cost moves with your travel month, lodging tier, group size and the experiences you keep or swap. Send us your dates through the inquiry form and we reply within twenty-four hours with a priced shape of the journey.
Can the ten days be shortened or extended?
Entirely. The circuit is a starting point — travellers have run it as a compact eight days without the east of the hill country, and stretched it past two weeks with extra nights in Ella and the coast. If seven days is your ceiling, the Heritage & Riviera Route covers the essential heritage-and-coast loop instead.
When is the best time of year for this route?
December to April is the prime window — dry and bright across the Cultural Triangle, the hill country and the south coast, with Mirissa’s blue whales in season from November to April. Yala National Park typically closes for several weeks around September–October; if your dates fall there, we substitute Wilpattu or reshape the wildlife days.
How much driving is involved?
Most legs are two to four hours in a private, climate-tuned vehicle with the same chauffeur-guide throughout, and every leg breaks at places worth stopping — spice gardens, tea estates, waterfalls, roadside kades. No day is a pure transfer.
Is the circuit suitable for families and first-time visitors?
Yes — it is our flagship precisely because it shows a first-time visitor the whole sweep of the island: heritage, highlands, wildlife and coast. Every stop has a gentler alternative (the Sigiriya climb, the safari hours, the zipline are all optional), and the pace is tuned to the youngest and oldest in the group.
